My rx-7 86 non turbo will not idle. When I was playing with the gas I got a warning beeping sound. What could that mean ? I have not found anywhere in search about this.I do not think it is a redline buzzer, because I am not redlining it. I am just bringing it up to about 2k rpms.I obviously still gotta do alota troubleshooting to figure out what is wrong.

 

check oil level, check coolant level.. check oil lines, check coolant lines.. the buzzer usually doesnt go off unless its one of those two that i know of

There's a big difference between a beeper and a buzzer. The FC has both. Which are you hearing?

 

it sounds like a beeping buzzer.

 

lol. does the sound more like a BUZZ or a BEEP? does the sound stay on or is it intermittent? ex beep beep- beep beep or does it go buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz............etc?
