No high end on street pot

No high end on street pot

I have a s5 street port with s4 upper and lower intakes and i'm losing power around 5000 rpm.Has anyone else ran into this problem.The moter was rebuilt by mazda permormance if that makes a differance.

Something else is definately wrong. With my street port all the power is above 4k.

With a street port all your power is on top, 5K and up.

exactly what they said, in my turbo above 5K is screams like no other, I'd check for vacum leaks or somthing blocking the ports, also check you ignition coild and your spark plugs..

Good point. It take what, 3-4k miles to properly break-in a rebuild? And you should keep the engine below 4krpm until it breaks in.

Plugs are new, and the leading coil pack is good. I havent looked at the trailing pack yet, but I will. And believe me, there are NO vac leaks.

(I am the guy that installed the motor)
