No heat, No A/C

I’ve replaced the logicon. The air flow switches vents correctly. Airflow speed increases/decreased when adjusted. The compressor appears to turn on when the A/C button is pushed. Recirc works correctly. I can hear the motors moving when sliding the lever from hot to cold. However, I don’t get hot or cold air. It just blows the same temperature no mater what I select.

What is my next step? Do I need to pull the dash at this point? The FSM says to rebuild the link mechanism (behind the dash I assume). Should I replace the heater core? Can I rule out the air mix motor?

Thanks. I'm not getting anywere with this one.

I would look and make sure that the arm on the air mix motor is actually connected to the "door" that allows coolant into the heater core.

Check out the Mazdatrix website...
They mentioned if problems with heat turning on, the air mix motor could be bad.

The rod was disconnected from the lever. That saved me several bucks on parts and a lot of time pulling the dash. Thank you!

As an FYI for anyone else, you need to remove the lower vent duct to see the motor. The motor and heat lever are on the drivers side of the heater unit. As another FYI, don’t take the housing of the heater unit. Its not easy to get back on.
