NO headlights!!

I have a problem with my 92 kouki FC the headlights just quit working. I started the car and turned on the lights cuz we were gonna race touge but we had to wait on some friends so I shut it off and waited. When I started it the second time and went to drive away upon turning the lights on........nothing!!

I have checked so far the switch ( replaced with known good one) the Relay, (same) and then lights themselves. I have looked at the wiring diagrams and it seems pretty simple. What could cause this? has anyone seen this before? Its got the best of me

Do the headlights pop up? Do the running lights come on?

Have you checked all the fuses?

Yes the lights pop up and all the fuses are good. Im not sure what you mean by running lights. My car does not have the fog lights anymore.

Ok if it is any help I searched this thing out here on the board and tried many things. I jumpered , bypassing, the relay. This gave me headlights. so I grabbed the relay from my other car and popped it in.......NO HEADLIGHTS. I tried different switches again and nothing. Checking the wires at the relay I got only 8 to 8.5 volts. I am thinking a bad ground but am not sure.

Where would i look to find where the relay is grounded. My car is a Japanese 7 and the wire colors are somewhat different I think and my Japanese wiring diagrams have suddenly dissappeared!!!

Oh yeah if this changes anything the lights no longer go up and down, they are now in the up postion......hahah could this get any worse.....lol

could also be a problem in the small wiring harness between the headlight switch and dash harness. they burn out sometimes.
