No Gauges, No Heater

ok.. i dont know exactly whats going on and i cant find anything in the search that is specific to my problem. i was driving over to a friends house.. stopped there (left the car running) left his house and noticed that none of my gauges are working. we stopped at another friends house and noticed the 80a main relay was blown.. replaced it... still no guages.. i also noticed at this time that the heater was not working either. checked the fuses at the drivers side panel and everything seems to be in working order.. any ideas on what this could be or where i should go to start narrowing down this problem?

which gauges went out? just the electrical guages?
your speedo must surely still work?
what exactly do you mean by the heater doesn't work, no fan?
what about the breakers for the heater and a/c?

very strange problem...what about the rest of your electrical, as well as more info on the car, imleage/ series/ that kinda stuff

Your idiot lights must not be working either, right? If so, I have the same problem. Check your
METER fuse in the kick fuse block. It's most likely blown.

I have a problem with my 5th gear. Everytime I use it the same METER fuse would blow. It doesn't
sound like that's your problem, though. I'm sure more people will chime in any second now.

Hope I helped.
