no fuel pressure. need help!

So im extremely close to finishing my turbo II swap. The one thing that isn't cooperating with me now is the fuel pump. I swapped out the NA fuel pump for a OE turbo II fuel pump. We got it wired and connected, but when you go to turn the key into the "on" position, No fuel pressure, no click signifying its turned on, nothing. The motor cranks, and from what my friend said, the wires going to the fuel pump is feeding electricity. So what could be my problem?

I had a similar issue and I checked for fuel in different places in the fuel system like before and after the filter, before the vacuum spider. if theres no fuel anywhere I would take the fuel pump back out and make sure it is a good pump

FCs don't pump fuel without engine running. There is a fuel priming procedure in the factory service manual that tells you how to jumper the system so that the pump can initially push fuel into the system. From there on, the fuel pump only runs when the engine is rotating.

There's a yellow jumper under the hood(passenger side). You can't miss it. Jump it. Turn key on for 30 seconds. Take jumper out. Start your car.
