i have a 1991 non turbo rx7 and i did the operation check on the fuel pump from the haynes repair manual it says to bridge the yellom two pin conector and turn the ignition on to hear a whearing sound for a couple of seconds exceptp mine never stops i checke dthe fuel system pressure and hold pressure and both of them was fine so i am stumpped on what the roblem is

 

BECAUSE the fuel pump is a contantly running fuel pump. It does not run for a few moments then stop.
