well i installed a JDM s5 13bt into a 87 n/a rx7, was told to run motor off of s4 n/a engine harness and to convert my s5 jdm motor into s4 meaning using s4 front engine cover, turbo oil return line, throttle body, manual omp, water pump and housing, with all s4 computer and fuel managment componets. So after some work here i am trying to start the motor and all it does it crank over really strong, but i seem to have no fuel pressure in the line coming off the fuel filter to the primary fuel rail. Any ideas anybody? please and thanks

Clogged fuel filter, Fuel pump, fuel pump wiring. Check those.

 

Jumper the yellow two socket fuel pump check connector near the right strut tower with the key to ON. The pump should run.

Or with the key to ON, shove the vane in the afm aft at least a quater inch. The pump should rin.

The ENGINE fuse in the interior might be blown also. It controls the fuel and spark thru the Main Relay.

If the pump ran before, it should run now. You've done nothing to change the working of the fuel pump.

Pump only works if the key is HELD to ON or if the engine is actually running. The exception is if you jumper the fuel pump check connector with the key to ON or better.
