No fuel

Okay my buddies 87 GXL just died the other day. Turns out the fuel pump stoped working. So we replace the fuel pump. Nothin. Replace relays. Nothin. looked at the wiring and found some bad spots but fixed them. Still nothing. We have spark but no fuel. Any Ideas on what this could be.

Have you checked the pump ground?

The voltage at the connector (at the left rear strut tower)?

Made sure the lines at the pump were put on correctly (pressure/return)?

Replace the circuit opening relay?

Got voltage there (center black/white wire)?

Clogged fuel filter?

Stuck open FPR?

He checked the voltage to the pump and it is getting some but not enough to make it start. He told me that one of his relays were smokd inside. I hope this is the problem, we have to order one so we have to wait till it gets here to make sure.

Okay today I went I checked it out. He has replaced two relays that smoked but he still has no fuel. The fuel pump is not turning on. He checked the plug at the rear but he says he only has power to one wire and not the other. Any Ideas on what is wrong.
