No fire. Bad wiring

I have an 89 rx-7 non turbo that I have been tinkering with for awhile. I've had it running but now I can't get any fire from the coils. I need to find someone who can maybe point me in the right direction as to what the problem may be. I have checked all the fuses and some of the ground.

You pull the small, white, two socket plug off the LEAD coil assy, and with a digital meter, see if the is 12vdc on the BLACK/YELLOW wire. Forget about the second wire in that coil assy. Key ON doing this.

It's ASSUMED you made sure all three ECU plugs are on and the CAS's plug is on the CAS.

Also jumper the fuel pump check connector near the right front strut tower, and with the key to ON, you should hear the fuel pump working. IF so, then you have power to the ignition switch. If not, then you don't have power to the ignition switch and the coils/pump etc won't work. It would mean there is no voltage getting to the Main Relay from the EGI fuse.

If you turn the headlights on, but when you go to START, nothing AT ALL happens as far as starting, then the MAIN FUSE in the engine bay is busted. Repair same.

There's about fifty different ways to find out what you ask. Those a a couple. Some require no digital meter.
