Question no engine start

HELP! The engine cranks but won't start. No gas getting to it. Replaced: fuel filter, thermo sensor, drained tank, checked fuel lines. Will the fuel pump fail occasionally, or will it fizzle out entirely? If I let the car sit for a few hours, when the engine has cooled, it starts with no problem. It seems to not want to start if the engine is not completely warm or cold. This is why the thermo sensor replacement was suggested.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

how do you know for sure its not getting any fuel? try running a jumper to directly power the fuel pump and see if you can start the car that way.

Power going to the fuel pump is controlled via the ECU so that is also a possibility.

Could it just be flooded? Try pulling the fuse for the injectors and for the spark. Crank for 10-15 seconds, replace fuses and try to crank.

holding down the gas pedal keeps the engine from duping more gas too.

Only in 89-91 model year cars. The 86-88s will continue to dump more gas in. His profile says 88 too .
