no egr valve

i'm not using an egr valve on my 10AE, as i've switched over to a jspec lim. i still have the egr solenoid valve hooked up to prevent vaccume leaks. what are the pros and cons of leaving the solenoid hooked up?

I don't have the FSM handy, but the solenoid leads to a vacuum nipple on the intake. If the solenoid opens with no EGR attached, you will have a vacuum leak. Remove the solenoid and cap the nipple.

yeah, that makes sense, i'll cap the nipples once i remove the solenoid. i'm just trying to narrow down my high idle problem and rocky low end power. thank you for the advice Aaron!
