no clutch...?

im looking at purchasing a 91 FC with 140xxx miles and its convertible....the car is in great condition except for the clutch...the guy says that the clutch can be pressed it...but when he lets off it the clutch doesnt engage and the pedal doesnt come back from the firewall....does this mean that the hydralic clutch is bad...or the actual clutch needs replaced included the release bearing?....i dont know if the FC still has the hydralic its just that i drive a FB right now and thought the FC would be a good daily driver...thanks for any advice.....o ya he's asking 2700....thanks...parker

2700 with a non working clutch,and 140k..no!offer 1000.

could be air in the line and if the clutch is bad its going to cost ya about 130$ for a stock one not including labor.so keep that in mind.also take a look in the for sale section of the second gen rx-7s and look at what they are going for!anything over 100k usually goes for no more than 1500.
