No cats with stock muffs

how much power gain would you get with a 3" stright pipe with no cats to the stock mufflers?

can not having cats or not having the smog sensors hooked up hinder horse power?

what kind of HP gain would i get if i replaced the stock mufflers with something after market? ( quiet preferably )

if your going quiet with aftermarket mufflers i'd say RB would be your best bet....

if your car is a T2 and your taking out the cats and leaving the stock mufflers, i think you'd end up roasting the hell out of them because you will be shooting fire and they will hit your mufflers, your best bet is to get some mufflers from racing beat and taking out the cats....

i think a full exhaust on a T2 gets you.... 50-60hp...?

I know there's a sound clip somewhere on the board. I can't remember who posted it though. If it helps any, I've heard alot about the RB mufflers and I've heard the sound clip. I don't my car to sound ricey either, so I'm putting in an order for the RB full turbo exhaust next week!!

you can't use duals on a tII, unless you have some sort of crazy twin turbo setup

I have the racing beat turboback set up its real nice its not loud and its not quite, but you deffinently will never get pulled over by a cop ever, and the power gains are so high because it raises the boost level because there are no cats too also if you get this is exhaust its around 800 bucks and you will never pass emissions and your car will be stinkier!!! but it will be worth it all!
