if they dont test your exhaust for results (emissions) then you wil be fine.. maby a discription of what MVI stands for might be alittle better..

i dont know what MVI stands for so i cant really help you out any further.. my guess is Motor Vehicle Inspection.. ? but im not sure what they look/test for

motor vehical inspection, they check tires, frame, alignment, any holes in body or floor, any thing that shouldnt be on the road, i know that fart can pipes that ricers use are not aloud to pass mvi in febuary on but i mean if you have one just unbolt it get it mvi then put it back on, they do it once a year and they put a sticker on your front lower left windshild.

If you run full exhaust or no cats, then you're reducing backpressure from the turbo. Which is a good thing. But you'll also raise the boost a few psi which is bad without fuel mods. You might blow flames, but you'll risk running lean and blowing your motor.

you should be okay then.

running full exhaust, you'll lose a little bit of low end torque but will gain high top end power.

As far as I know it isn't bad, but what is the point? You cant see it. Also your exhaust will sound like it is making popcorn. If you want a sound clip ill try and go make one. But trust me it is annoying.

you shouldn't run without cats on an s4. your 5th & 6th ports won't open cuz they open by backpressure. ^^^

i've heard of ppl wiring them open. i honestly don't know how, so if you want to wire them open do a search. i've seen it talked about b4. i have an s5 so i need a smog pump for my ports.

if you wire them open then you will lose low end and if you wire them shut then you will lose top end. i taped into the air pump to open the ports. i hollowed mine out and kept the stock pipes. mine doesnt backfire that much and i really like the tone it has. it doesnt sound like those crrappy honda fart cannons.its really deep.

i dont think anyone has a writeup on that, but if you yake of your cats and just get a really long screwdrive or a prybay and a mallet just start breaking out all the catalyst. lol. just be sure to yake the cats off the y pipe before you do it cuz you dont want the crap glogging your muffler

removing cats

Removing the cat is illegal. Just purchase a free flow cat.
The difference between a straight pipe and a free flow cat is minimal.
ImportTuner ran an article where they dyno tested a few free flow cats against a straight pipe and the difference between many of them was only 1 hp.
Yes, that was a 1!

I didn't say not to do it. I just said it was illegal.
I'm running a straigt pipe and the difference between that and the bonez free flow cat is very minuet... kinda like your comprehension.
How about trying to expand your brain power and post some useful information once and a while... I notice all of your posts are pretty much garbage much like your attitude.
