No Blow Off??

ever since I did the ACV removal ive had no blow off. I thought it was relatively simple in that one end is hooked up to the intake manifold and the other just connects to the intake before the throttle body. Is there any kind of check valves in the line between the intake manifold and the blow off valve. What kinda damage can i do by not blowing off under boost. (im not sure if im even getting compressor surge)

The BOV has a vaccuum line that actuates it. Did you disconnect it and not reconnect it? Sounds like it.

To know if you are getting compressor surge, open your hood and have someone rev your engine. When they rev it, have them give it gas and quickly let off the throttle (as if they were changing gears). If you hear a che, che, che, or something to that extent, you have surge...get a blowoff valve!
