You do really need to be more specific about what you want help with? Buy a Haynes manual and read up on what you want to do. If you run into trouble, post your problem here and you will get the benefit of the wisdom of those who have done such things.

i hate the fact they used hard lines up front...doing brakes and new shock are a pian in the @#*...any way i guess it would be a good time to upgrade to stainless braided lines .
i too have a 88 GTU so i know where your coming from...i assume thats what he is talking about...

you've got good (4 piston front and ventilated rear) brakes, why put on a big brake kit? if you're doing semi-legal street driving, even if high performance, you shouldn't need it.

1. get some good semi-metallic pads from a decent import parts store (bap-geon here in VA) ... also, you don't need to spend over $100 on pads unless you're going to track them or maybe for auto-x
2. de-glaze your rotors with emery cloth
3. grease caliper guides with permatex
4. replace fluid and bleed

5. stop
