I'm in love with teh 7's. But its my fargin parents that i can't convince. Either this could really help them see my interest. Or them see the fuckign beast the 7 is and totally destroy any chance of me ever getting one under their roof. Either way i'm up for the gamble.

you can always buy a 12A with a bad carb (all that i've seen)... nice and relatively slow to start with.... then clean it up after your parents say, well I guess this one isn't that fast

I am coming from Ames, IA, but not just for the BBQ. I am getting together with a bunch of family members the day before. I drove down to a few events in NJ and PA from Syracuse last year...it's worth it every time!

Well, if you guys don't mind a Floridian showing up, I'm going to try to be there, believe it or not. I'll be up there that week for a friends graduation, so I think I might stop by.
I want to see if you Jersey people know how to take care of your toys in spite of the rough weather.
Later,

Of the three FCs in that pic, two are from upstate NY and the white one is from NJ, and the only rusty one is mine. Most of the cars there are very well taken care of, and of course you're welcome there. Are you going to have your TII with you? Last year we had ~28 FCs there, and I'm sure we'll dominate again this year. Be sure to check out the thread in the NE section for details.

Don't worry though I'm keeping my T2 as my daily driver.
