is your car turbo? S4 or S5? maybe you should upgrade your fuel system same time.

isnt a wet system a lot safer than a dry system??

i would go with a wet system , NOS has a kit for 800 bucks or so. then you wouldnt have to upgrade your fuel system.

not necessarily safer but easier. with a dry system you need to add fuel using your injectors where a wet system has its own injector for fuel. So if you don't want to spend big bucks for a standalone ecu and bigger injectors, go with a wet system. You will need to upgrade your fuel system, larger fuel pump and pressure regulator.

And i wasn't aware that you could find direct port injection for nitrous built for our engine, you would have to modify the lower intake manifold to accept the injectors i guess. Well the way i've seen it done on FC's is the wet system mounted right before the throttle body plates. Theres a good web page for this out there somewhere, its specific to the FC, ill see if i can find it a bit later for you.

do u mean direct port injection as in putting the fogger in thru one of the 4 intake runners?

yes, but its harder to install as oppossed to a system injected thru ur plastic intake elbow.

"scathcart" ran a dual stage wet system with a 280 combined hp shot. 1st. stage was a 120 shot system connected to his intake elbow. 2nd stage was 40 hp shots per intake runner (40 x 4 = 160).

problem with direct port injection systems is the max nitrous u can use per runner is only 40hp.

oh and about the fuel system. yes ull need to upgrade no matter what kit u get TO BE ON THE SAFER SIDE.

failing that can cause u to run nitrous without enough fuel pressure and go lean....and that means KABOOM at some point. thats why NOS has such a bad rap with car lovers. impatient ppl who dont know what theyre doing over-nitrous theyre cars without upgrading "needed" parts.

a walbro 255 is more than adequet...if ur hardcore, better get an aeromotive one.
