Damn you are being nice, personally I really don't like the interior. Looks tacky to me, and its too eye catching. Exterior looks good except for the red emblems. Definately paint those black.

Overall nice car though.

 

Very clean.. although I'm not too partial to the red myself, and I do like the seats

Yeah my exhaust is rusted off before the split air pipe so I haven't had working ports for a while. I can't remember the last time I had money to spend on my car. I actually need to sell her because I need rent money for this next school year. It will be hard to part with my first car, but I'm hoping to get a TII next summer if I can get a better job. She is up on autotrader as we speak.

Clean looking car man, I also have the red and black interior going on, but I havn't actually painted any of the interior parts. No pics yet cuz the ones I took r too big 2 post here.

Quick question, are your cluster gauges (tach, spedo, etc) black w/ red numbers, or is that just the camera playing tricks???

If u do have the red and black gauges can u tell me where u got them.

A bit north of me... I am slum'n it down here in the ghetto section. Had a high speed chase end on my street, about a month ago. Some guy with a Ak-47 decided to do suicide by cop, and led them on a chase from the lower west side, up 71 and it ended about 10 houses down from mine. I have never seen so many cops in all my life. we stoped counting after 40 cop cars went down the street.

Half Jap Boost Monkey, my gauges are stock. Black and red would be pretty sweet. I've thought about changing the gauges but the only ones I ever see are the ones off ebay. I really don't like'em very much.

 

Nice looking car. I think the red interior looks a little "busy" though.

 

Looks good, nice work. the red is a little too much for me, but probably would have liked it when I was 16 too. I agree on the front bumper, and I believe that it's only a half spoiler anyway. Which means you would have had to cut your bumper in half to mount it on.

 

Man, you guys are TOO much. Can't even compliment a person an a very clean RX-7. .....don't like the red.....can't have TII mirrors.....can't have factory side skirts...blah...blah...blah!!!

I am beginning to think that all this anamosity comes from people that either do not have as nice of a car and are jealous or are just plain ******** that do not have nothing better to do than to knock on someone no matter what.

This is probably better looking than 90-95% of the cars on here as far as looks and paint.

I hate to think what you guys would have done if he would have done anything more to it.

It's kinda like having a house and never changing the color, keeping the same carpet, no additions allowed, can't add satellite, can't have different grass....etc...etc...etc!

Um, STFU. He posted pictures, he should expect some criticism. This isn't a support group, its a area of public opinion. Criticism is almost always a good thing if its the truth. Truth is that most people who respect RX-7s don't like to see a red painted interior.

So allow me to retort. Car looks good, pretty clean. Interior isn't my style, red is alittle too "active" of a color for my taste. The red badges also look kinda bad. Almost looks like you got them off of a red car and forgot to paint them to match.

 

People are stating their opinons, just like you were. You said nicer than 90-95% of the cars on here. If looked at it a different way, that could be considered an insult. Maybe he was thinking his car was nicer than 96% of the other cars here and you just rocked his world with your statement.

Most of the people put up their posts to give him an honest critique of his car, not to "flame and knock". If I ever post a picture of my car, I expect feedback. That's the whole reason I would put it up there. Obviously, it would be to show off what all of my hard work had accomplished, but if that was ONLY what I wanted, I would just frame a picture of my 7 in my dorm room for everybody that comes to see.

Anyways...

Good looking car. Clean body, paint, and interior (as far as we can see.. whatcha hiding? ). Red is not my color of choice, but at least you did it pretty tastefully. I was actually thinking of something KINDA similiar for my interior, but much more subtle. Props on the work.

 

The seats look a little like WRX seats...

Anway, the car looks good. Very clean! We dont' see many N/A FCs in Aus, so they always look a little wierd purely because of the lack of the hood scoop. They do look good though! And being black makes it even better.
