Exterior doesnt look too bad at all. I dont really like the rims but you shouldnt care. Sideskirts look cool. Havent heard of classicgarage.com before. Nothing to be ashamed of at all... but I'll wait for the interior pics haha.

More pix of the seats please. What kind are they?

I got the seats off ebay over a year ago. I can't remember the kind but it was definitely not a brand name. They were a bitch to install, I had to fabricate the stock seat rails to fit them. They look lighter colored in the picture I think. In person they are very dark black and the stitching is bright red, not pinky purple like in the pics.

Well I did the interior back when I was 16 so I was a little more into the flahy look. I've thought about toning it down a little. The plastic stuff I did with TESTORS plastic paint. Its what they sell in the model car section. Works great. Then I clear coated it. The door panels are completely custom with red vinyl from JoAnn Fabric haha. The dash and other vinyl stuff was done with duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric paint. I bought new black carpet, I wasn't gonna try and dye it. I did it all 3 years ago and it still looks great.

Yeah they are a little lighter than the stock seats, I think 9-10 lbs. Oh in case anybody was wondering, I don't have the front bumper from the kit because I think its ugly. See for yourself http://store.yahoo.com/classicgarage/rx7fronspoil4.html

Quick question: What rear bumper is that? Looks almost stock, but the bottom appears to flair out a little more...

The only flame I have is that I think the red on the center console is just a bit TOO red. compared to the rest of the red on the interior, but that my just be the camera shading kicking in... I like it, looks good!

did you pull the dash when you painted it?
where did you get your rear carpet from?
what about the headliner?

I like the car overall, the red is not my style, but nice.

I think the door panels are "ok" but the handles should definately be black. Red on red makes it look rather gey. Were those seat belts originally red or did you color them? If you did I heard its bad to die belts because it weakens them. I don't like the radio surround or idiot surround because it doesn't really go with anything else. The exterior is looking good but I didn't like you using the TII's aero mirrors on a non TII. How about some performance mods? Spend some decent money on that and you'll probably get more respect from the more performance oriented guys like me.

Thanks for not bashing me too bad Santiago. I found those mirrors in a junkyard right before I painted the car so I thought what the hell, they look sweet. I really haven't spent any money on the car. Me and my friend, who works in a body shop, spent a whole summer painting it. We just worked on it in our spare time and it didn't cost me anything. The skirts are dirt cheap on that website so that didn't cost much. I'll admit the rims and tires were more expensive, but come on it was a graduation present. After the kit and the fresh paint the rotary phone dial rims had to go haha. The seat belts are the only thing in the interior that are the original burgandy color. I didn't think dying them would work out too well.

Haha, no I was too lazy to pull the dash out. Everything else was out and I just taped off the windshield. I can't remember where I got the carpet from. I just searched the internet for stores that sell replacement carpet for cars (theres actually a lot out there). Then went with the cheapest one hah. As far as the headliner goes, I used the Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric paint on it. It took a lot of paint to cover it, but turned out really nice. Thanks for the compliments fellas. -Josh
