Question newmotors

I'm looking to replace a 88 NA motor. I wasn't sure if I wanted to rebuild one (I've done piston motors) or just order one. If i was to order one where should I go to. I was planning on a street port which I would have a machine shop do and better bearings. Also the 90 intake system is different is it possible and worth changing over to it?

Well, if youre talking about getting a race motor, you'll have $2500+ in it for oiling and cooling mods as wel as a streetport...probably closer to $3000. Ive heard excellent things about Pineapple racing, and Ive not really heard anything bad about Atkins.

IF youre talking about a stock engine rebuild with a streetport then Im the one to talk to. I can get you this engine done for around $1200 plus core charge. IF youre interested at all or want to know what goes into them, check out my page: http://hypntyz.rx7life.com/rebuildpage.htm

Let me know if I can help you out. hypntyz@charter.net
