OK guys i just put down a deposit on my s4 rx-7.
Let me just say this forum is huge! 25,000 members good stuff!

I bought a s4 seven for 11,500 AUD which is about 6000USD. It's the price of an average standard seven here. Except it was modded by one of australia's finest rotor tuners, Promaz. Hi-flo turbo, fuel pump, all the other little mods, including microtech management. This is potentialy 3 times the power of my daily driver! (nissan exa/ plusar turbo)

anyway a few quick questions:

1. It's obviously a s4 but has a turbo II sticker on it. I asked the guy, if it was a turbo II he said it was. I thought all turbo IIs were s5, with 185 kws.

2. To all the wheel gurus out there can this wheel fit on my car? the 17 x 8 one.

i'm hoping for a street trim sub 12 quater, without laughing gas. There's not much more i can do to the car. except fat wheels for traction, and fuel mods. ie. injectors. and oh, i almost forgot a big fat intercooler!

turbo IIs were made all years from 86-92. north america got them from 87-91

 

How many HP is 1 kW ?


There are S4 and S5 T2's

185kws = 238 hp

 

86-88 came with 182hp and 89-91 came with 200hp
