newbie question on fc t2's

i read (actually i just skimmed) the faq on top and didn't find what i was looking for. on fd's, around the second mod or so, you would have to get a power fc (or other ems) so it doesn't detonate, does this apply to the fc? i read about the it running lean and detonating, but are there any ems to use (ie on the fd--apexi power fc)? also are there any mods that can make the t2 last longer (ie on the fd--ast, raditor, etc)? btw, i'm thinking about using this car for canyon runs so i'll probably just have bolt ons.

Well, larger injectors in the secondaries and a SAFC are always a good idea if you plan on making any more power than over stock with increased boost levels (which you will get with exhaust and an intake). A stand-alone type system isnt always neccesary in our cars but its always a useful tuning tool, plus increasing the life of a T2. It really all depends on what you what to do power wise and how far your wanting to go with building.

Upgraded injectors are not required for mild mods. It's the fuel pump that runs out of capacity first, so it must be upgraded first. The biggest injectors in the world won't help if the pump can't supply them enough fuel.
