Hey all,
I see these terms everywhere, but I've never actually seen it said what they mean, I guess everybody just assumes people know
What does GTU and GXL mean, and what is the difference between them?

The GXL was the highest trim level for the non-turbo FCs. It was the luxury model.
The GTU was produced to commemorate the RX-7s great success in racing in the GTU class.

The GTU is more of a sport model (non-turbo), while the GXL is more of a luxury model.
The GTU was named after the IMSA GTU racing class, which stands for Grand Touring Under (Under 2.5L engine). I don't know if the GXL term means anything.
