Newbie needs info

Look i am going to purchase a turbo 2 rex in the near future i have come here so many times in the past year or so it's only been recent where i have actually bothered to join the forum as a member, my question is this i have noticed people talking about the different types of 2nd gen rex's my question is this what is the best year for the turbo 2, in your opinion, i have heard about s4's and s5's, but this is all jibberish to me i still have a lot to learn as far as what i am going to do mod wise and maintenance wise, thus far i think though that the 89 to 91, is going to be the best choice, but then again i am a newbie so any suggestions on what to do will be greatly appreciated

S5 (89-91) looks better imo. It does have a little bit more power, however you will pay ALOT more for it. For the dollar, the s4 is a better choice. Plus they feel more connected than a s5.

That's because they are lighter, which is why I like them better. Those who prefer a nice-looking car would probably rather have an S5 model.
