Newbie.. Need help for mods
I just bought an 88 rx7. I was wondering if there are any "Free Mods" or cheap ways of getting HP... I have got stright through exhaust and a short ram intake so far. I was thinking its over due for a tune up and was also wondering what kinda spark plugs to go with. I have also read some mention of a throttle body mod or something? And does anyone take that heavy airpump system off?
Please help
Thanks

cheap and HP dont co-exist. gotta pay to play. go with racing beats header and an open exhaust, looking at $200 for the header and maybe another $100 to run the custom piping. noticable difference

The Sureshot NA list
1) - A tune up & clean up (on the street, an ounce of shine is worth a pound of performance)
2) - Test to see if the aux intake port actuators are working.
3) - Weight reduction
4) - Synthetic gear oil in the tranny.
5) - exhaust header & no cats.
6) - light flywheel & clutch.
7) - a piggyback air flow converter (S-AFC) to tweak the tune.
8) - a short throw shifter. (dosen't add power, but gets you down the road quicker)
