Sup people, my name is Luis, im from Mexico, i have a RX7 86 non-turbo.
Uhm, i bought this car last year, and as you might now, the rx7 was never sold here in mexico, i had to import it from the US, so its kind of a treasure arround here.

I got this car with a 13b engine but the fuel injection was removed (OMG, why? i think ill never know)... so its carburated right now. It has ported oil injection, bigger radiator, headers and a nice independent fuel pump. So i was thinking in making it turbo, without ECU, just adding it to this carburated injection.
What tips or suggestions do you recommend me?
Ive been thinking in putting a T3/T4 Hybrid Garret Turbo, with a front side intercooler. But im still not sure. Again, im new in this rotary stuff but with lots of ideas for this car. So i wanna know more, please help.

OK RX7club... im kinda disappointed...
This is the 3rd time i posted about some help from anyone of you about my FC...
This was the only help aviable for me. there are no RX7s here so mechanics doesnt know anything about rotary engnies... I feel sad about the support i had here...
I wasnt expecting you to solve my entire existence with my car, i was just hoping you can help me to choose the right components, or any other nice suggestion, cause as i told in this post before, i am planning to get this car in a really good shape..

Anyways... all of you guys have nice cars... i hope you can get the dream i never could...

 

If you're new, keep it simple. Putting on a turbo, FMIC, carbed, etc. is going to be difficult if you don't know what you're doing.

 

Ive allready installed turbos before, but never on a 13b engine, only on a Focus Zetec engine and a Volkswagen 1.8 engine...
uhm, this may sound stupid but.. what is FMIC?

 

Front mount intercooler. Probably what you said was a front side intercooler.

 

Oh ok, i see, you're right.. so. how much HP could i get after turbo and the rest of the mods?

Do you know where i can get some maps of 13bT turbo engine? like diagrams or whatever its called?
