Question newbie:deciding on which car to buy

hey guys. this is my first time writing but i've been a long time reader.
anyways heres my story. my older brother needs a car until his spec v arrives in march. so we pretty much made a deal, he'll buy watever car I want under 4000 cdn and he'll juss give it to me when his spec v arrives.
aright so these are my car choices. a FC n/a..or a toyota AE86....
im probably goin to someday autox these cars.
anyways im leaning more towards the fc side but these are my doubts.
1. when getting a engine rebuilt, most companies juss need the core of the engine, is it possible to give a company the n/a engine and buy a T2 rebuilt engine of them. and if this does work, will the T2 engine fit into the n/a engine bay without serious custom work.
2. and i juss wanna know if a 1988 gx is a 2+2 seater.

thnx for the help guys..
btw im only 16 so im kinda enexperienced with these cars still.

cheaper to buy a TII if this is your first car. You can search on TII conversions and read the writ-up at the top of the page.

- You can get 2+2 GX.
- Yes you can swap in the TII engine, as long has you have all the extra stuff, manifold, turbo, intecooler, etc. (ACTION RT just did it)
- The core charge only applies of your re-building your existing engine, not when your buying a TII one. I'm not sure if they would just trade and NA core for a TII.
