is it turbo or NA?

are you doing a conversion? or a straight swap

also , depending on the condition of the engine, you might want a rebuild it instead of buying a new one
search the sites on how to do the swap
alot of guys here hate "giving" answers to questions that have been asked 10000000 times

Just label every connector and hose with numbers (I've used masking tape and a black sharpie), yank the engine, swap everything over to the new engine, put it back in, and match up the connections using the numbers.

After you get the engine in, you will have to check settings like tps, timing, idle, etc.

The engine is n/a and the engine i have in now is in real good shape other than the seal, i was planing to do a direct swap and tinker with the old one.

I know that this must **** you guys off but this is how you learn by asking question

Here is a step-by-step walk through for removing the engine written by Kevin Landers:

Install in the reverse procedure.

Congrats on the Rx7.

Also make sure it really has a bad apex seal, because a lot of people are idiots who say, "Oh, that's a rotary? It must have a blown apex seal." Get it compression tested. Remove the check valve in the compression tester, and check for 3 even pulses. 1 strong pulse and 2 weak pulses means it has a bad apex seal. It also won't show up on a regular compression tester unless you remove the check valve, because then it will only show the results from the strong pulse. Preferably the pulses should be 90-120psi, but a motor will still run if it's a little lower (as long as you still have all 3 pulses).
