I wonder how accurate their analog output is in comparison with what the unit displays...ala the problem with the techedge v1.5WB. It sucked for datalogging.
Dunno if they fixed it with v2.0 or not...I'm curious to see how this on handles it. Although I can't say I like the overall bulkiness of this one. I could hide the techedge display in my ashtray if need be.

I've heard the Innovative wideband was having trouble with the heat of the rotary and giving inaccurate results.
I dunno why everyone's so stoked about it - there's a number of sources for cheap wideband setups, and there has been for some time.

The nice thing about this setup is that it comes standard with a computer datalogging interface, and the sensor it uses (NOT the same as the TechEdge/DYI WB) is a $40-$50 sensor, so if you cook it, it's no big deal. It's got facilities for analog outputs (1V narrowband sim and a 5V linear) as well as a number of inputs (pressure, revs, etc).
There are problems with the units however. We've got one, and have found it to be, well, flaky. It likes to read fine for a while, and then basically just start wigging out. They say it's a sensor body overheating issue, I say it's buggy firmware. Either way, it's Not Yet Ready for Primetime.

No7Yet, I have not had any of those problems yet. The only inconvience is having to recalibrate it every now and again, but ehh....to be expected. Have you upgraded the Firmware from there site?
