New wheels for my 7...
Alrighty, I picked up the TSW EVOs for the car last night, and put them on tonight.
They fit great, and the new rear tires actually have some meat to them (255 50 ZR17s). On to the pics!
Some actual tread width, finally!

Side shot (can't wait till it's out of the garage, so I can get some nice daytime shots, from a good angle...

One more side shot...

I'm working on cleaing up my new (to me) Turbo II seats, and getting them put in one night next week, then I just need to pick up my exhaust from my Indy connection, and I'm good to go.

On a serious note, I actually did the opposite of 99% of the people on this board, and went for wheels that are actually fairly heavy (not sure of actual weight, but they're pretty thick), to try and knock out a little of the wheelspin, as it is intended to be a street car, and I fear that light weight wheels and street tires would = lots of smoke.... which, while fun, gets expensive fast. LOL
255/50r17 is over 2.5" taller than the stock tire. Why did you go with that size? And intendingly choosing a heavy wheel to decrease performance is just dumb. Not only do heavy wheel hurt acceleration, they make every aspect of the car suffer, hanlding, road feel, etc. Of course that heavy *** thing under your hood doesnt help that either, so I guess its not that big of a deal

I had 4-5 friends with wheels they were trying to sell that actually fit. These were the best combo of price/style/size for my preference.
Oh, and the wheel gap looks big from that angle, it's actually about 1.5" in the rear, and 1.25" in the front.. less then that, and I'd rub in the corners, so that where she'll stay (my friend has the same size wheel/tire, and he rubs like crazy in any kind of bump/corner. Eventually it will have a modified Tripoint widebody on it, so I'll (obviously) have new wheels when I do that.
