New wheels, brakes, suspension - PICS!

Well today I got my new wheels in. They are Volk GT-Us, 17x7.5 up front with a 27mm offset, and 17x8 rear with a 35mm offset. I got them used , straight from Japan. They are in really nice shape though, and Ive always wanted a set of Volk mesh wheels, and Ive finally got them. For now they are wrapped with the used tires they came with ( Yokohame Advan A032s) but I will be getting new tires soon, and going with the same sized I have had previously on my '03 Mustang GT wheels, which was 255/40 rear and 235/40 fronts. While I was at it , I installed my new slotted rotors, and took some pictures along the way. Suspension is brand new as well, Tokico HP struts and Tokico springs. No real spectacular pics, but you get the point. Keep in mind there is no engine/tranny in the car, which is why it is sitting so high. I also had a hell of a time getting the front rotors off, as you can see by the 1st pic Let me know what you think. Sorry about the engine in the car shot, I didnt feel like moving it. That should be going in shortly as well. Pics time:

Thanks! SS lines are in the works, just havent got around to it yet. Id like my car to be "done" by next spring. Hopefully I can get it up and running within the next few months, then its off for paint and bodywork, and then garaged for the winter again.

Haha , yea thats what I was thinking. I used to have a set of 'vert wheels on my car back when it was still N/A, and I loved them. I just couldnt stick with a 15x6.5" wheel, so I needed to change.

Sorry, I mustv looked over your post before. Im not sure what rubber mounts you are takling about exactly.. If you mean the ones on the very top, between the spring and the perch on the strut, then yes I re-used my old ones.

Coming up in the world! Looks very nice, I love brakes/suspension pictures, can't get enough of them.

What tires do you plan on wrapping those in?

Not sure yet...thinking of going with Kuhmo MXs, but havent decided. I want to find something that will last fairly long, but still be a good performer.

Thats what I am probably going to get whenever these 712s wear out. I have heard nothing but good things about their dry traction, not so many good things about their wet traction though. But I'm getting ahead of myself, these 712s won't wear out for another lifetime.

Thanks alot. I think the Imagines are a copy of the Enkei Aegis (sp?). Thats a nice wheel as well. Im very impressed with the detail work that is in these Volks. Every one of the bolts on the outside of the rim has "RAYS" stamped on it. "Volk Racing" , as well as "GTU" and "Rays" is cast into the center part of the wheel, by where the lugs come through.
