New Wheel Help

I reciently got a set of 17x8 in. PIAA wheels with an offset of 42 and i was wondering what size tire i should put on them for my 88 GTU. It isnt lowered or anything. They are sexy wheels and i just want to put them on my car so if anyone has any help please let me know. Also i am trying to get rid of another set of the exact ones for local pick up only so if you are intrested leave a message ok thank you.

They won't fit up front without spacers.

offset police where are you!!!! Run a lower offest , get like some +20s or something and get some wider wheels.

it is true that your 42mm offset is going to kill you... you'll most likely need >10mm Spacers. that's moving into a very unsafe distance because you will only have your lugs grabbing a few threads.

but as far as my rear wheels goe the offset is fine? but i need to get spacers for the fronts?
