Just picked up this 90 Vert today, and damn I love it. I'll be visiting this section also now! The vert has about 155K miles, all original (well, it was repainted), everything pretty much works (yup even the antenna), driver's seat is a bit worn. I even got the conv boot AND the bag for the top panel.

Gonna do a basic tune up to it very soon, besides the reg fluids and oils, anything about verts to check out specifically? Future plans (pretty far) for this vert will include a TII swap, eventually. But for now, it'll be my "top down, screamin out. money ain't a thang" cruiser. lol

Looking forward to participating in this section also now!

Very good looking... Nothing specific about verts that isn't completely obvious (check the top... etc).

Hows the engine holding up.. 155k miles, its gotta be showing signs?

I have an 88 that's my daily driver. Run this **** out of it with 130k on it. Nothing special to check except for leaks, and maybe leaks, or a leak maybe when it rains.... Check the trunk area and behind the seats, or a musty smell might give it away. Otherwise just put the top down and have fun!

Oh yeah BTW, chicks dig 'Verts.

Typically the leather has seen much harsher life than in a coupe. If it is worth saving, this is the way to save it:

The other reason for posting was this...it's my front left hub/rotor assembly.

(yeah yeah.. I should have rustproofed the rotor when I installed it! cheesy Brembo blanks...)

I'm trying to figure out why I'm hearing a clunking noise from my front left suspension when braking. Slow braking usually, otherwise I can't hear it. It's intermittent, but I would say >90% of the time. From the pics above, it seems somethings not right with the wheel hub [obviously]? Before I go run out and start buying every used part around that area, what's causing that chatter? Unbalanced wheel? *shrugs*? TIA.
