New Vented FC3S Hood

We are considering bringing these hoods over for the FC. They are made by a company in Japan called STOUT. Seems like a different style anyways, seems very aggressive and functional.

Do you guys like them?
Pricing would be somewhere around $695 FRP and $995 for carbon fiber..

Let me know if there is any interest and I'll bring one over to test for fitment and quality...

i don't really like that hood.....I would prefer one where the vent opens up closer to the front end....right between the engine and radiator...that way the hot air being sucked out by the radiator fan would be sucked out the hole....

Looks nice but like everyone we would like to see it on a FC.

Hey I've noticed lately every week there is a new post regarding hoods.. Well why doesn't someone or a shop purchase one hood and basically use it to make a mold out of and sell it.. I'm pretty sure the demand for a TII hood or a Vented hood is high but why doesn't someone just make copies of the hood to cut down on costs?

Is there any reason for 3/5 of the vents to be completely asymmetrical?

Do they serve some function being in the locations that they are?

Will they fit TIIs with stock ICs?

It would be nice to actully see It on a FC. By doing It like that, we can see truly how It would look rather than a computer generated Image, respectively.

thats why

I wanted to test the waters. I dont want to bring one over if everyone hated it. But with this response I will seriously consider bringing one over to test for fitment and quality.

Anyone local in So Cal (Orange County) we could test fit it on when it comes in?

If they didn't have that one vent chillin out all outta wack, I'd like it and consider getting it. My thought on it now are the same as a few others... that thing looks like it's so damn busy that it makes me sweat just lookin at it.

you would not get any airflow through the stock IC, so you would need a front mount to go with this hood.

I do actually like that hood. Is there a screen across those vents, or are they completely open?

because technically, unless you modify the hood in some way, it's illegal, and you can get your *** sued off if the company sees it for sale.
