New tires on vert rims...???
Im going with discount tires' Falken ziex, Im just trying to finalize my decicion on tire size.
I want to keep the tire width the same on all four.
They are going on an 89 GXL with intrax springs ~ 1.7'' lower than stock.
The wheels are the stock convertable BBS's 15x6.5''
- Can I go 225/60/15 all the way around with no rubbing?
- or should I go with a 215/60/15?
- I Was considering going to a 50 series, but... I think thats way to small, and options are limited on a 55 series. Would a 205/55/15 be a better choice?
Opions and experience is welcome.
Thanks

I know that some of the vert owners here run 225/50-15 tires (near stock size), and yes the summer tire choices for a 15 inch wheel are limited unless you start looking at profiles lower than 60.
I have seen a vert with 205/50-15 Falkens, but it had a coilover setup to lower it quite a bit (otherwise the tires would look at bit too small). The owner seemed to like the setup (handling).

Well, I needed to get these tires today.. So my pick was determined by availablity.. I went with the 205/55/15, and am happy with them.. The falkens seem to be a good bang for the buck..
