cooling issue

OK i had just got done rebuilding this motor. i did a medium streetport Microtech lt-10s fd upper intake manifold and other stuff the car runs pretty good other than these problems with cooling and timing. the car will stay running at 180-185deg all day long at idle once i start driving it the temp will just go up the highest it has been is 200deg. If it gets high i just stop and the temp goes down takes about 3 mins, but as soon as i go again it goes back up. light throttle i don't notice it soo much but under a load 4hg-1psi i notice it moves a lot faster, no matter how fast the car is moving and if i push the clutch in and coast the temp will go down.

Now for timing the front rotor leading is 5deg atdc the trailing is 20deg atdc idle is 820-860 rpm.
i flushed the cooling system twice replaced the thermostat with a new 180deg the cooling fan kicks on at 185. please anyone with ideas could i be running too much timing on the ecu could my front mount be blocking all the air?
HELP

You more than likely have air in your coolant system. You can search for lots of great ways to remedy this.

Yeah, man if i were you i'd get an aftermarket electric fan, and rig it up so that it stays on all the time , it helps GREATLY. My operating temperature is like barely over the cold symbol becasue of that fan. ( i think the thermal wrap on my downpipe is also a reason it stays so cool.)

The highest it has been is 200? That's not too bad. Not the best, but it's still ok. Make sure your fan is working like you said, make sure your thermostat is OEM, get a Lisle funnel (forum/google search) to easily & effectively get the air out of the system, and make sure there is no way for air to go around your radiator (stock method = plastic undertray + foam around radiator). Try a larger radiator perhaps to make up for the front mount (yes, a front mount will add heat).
