new starter in but still slow start up
hmm i donno what it seems to be maybe my battery connections are bad because i hooked it up to a charger and it worked much better but still no start
Most likely it's either the battery is dying (just because it has 12 volts doesn't mean it's okay...it's the amps that matter) the actual lines going to the starter if you have a slow cranking condition. That means there is excessive resistance in that circuit, or the power isn't available in the first place. If the battery isn't putting out enough amps then the starter will turn slowly and MAYBE start or not. Get the battery checked and find out how many amps it's putting out (read: cold cranking amps), if that's fine according to the rating on the battery then it's the wires having too much resistance due to either loose connections, or just being worn out. Good luck
