New spool

I put my car down to do some work on it. I removed ACV, air pump, P/s, and A/C. I also added underdrive pulleys, electric fan, and a full 3 inch catless single exhaust. I found out in the process of all this that my ECU was bad. So I replaced it with the JDM N374. I bought it from Turbonut and hed never ran the ECU. I get it all back together and now I can boost to 10 and I'm not gettin fuel cut. I've only hit it one time and that was when I creeped to 12. I assume it was fuel cut. It felt like hitting a wall? Anyways, how is this possible. Do you guys think this ECU is the cause? The car runs like a raped ape. Its just boostin high with no cut out. I'm confused.

3 possibilities really I see:

1) You are not hitting fuel cut at all
2) That ecu has been reprogrammed so fuel cut is at 12psi
3) Your boost gauge is off

try to keep out of boost till you get it on a dyno with a wideband .... or at least an EGT gauge to get an idea if your running lean or not... if your running lean do a few fuel mods, at least FD or Walbro pump and 680 secondaries
