NY new to rx7 have a few questions

so on monday i put my rx7 on the road and i don't have a back up engine ready to go so im gonna try to baby it so...what are the do's and do nots i know to not rev the **** outta it when i first start it..but whats a safe rpm to take it up to if i need to get a move on and don't have like 5 min to let it warm up...not to mention it has a searching idle and i have to make sure it doesn't stall out...once its warm ill make sure all the vacuum lines are connected and dick with the idle screws...on a side note....i work at a towing company and in out impound lot theres a turbo 2 that now belongs to the company cause the dude never came and got it....i looked at it its still a turbo has after market rims and a after market cone on the turbo...but thats about it...now monday i find out if i can strip it for parts...cause the guy wouldn't give up the title and shut his phone off and noone can get ahold of him anymore....now according to one of my bosses cause its a title-less impound they have to destroy it (aka take it to the junk yard and have it crushed)...im trying to get them to let me buy it for what the junkyard is gonna give them then after ive taken stuff out of it stilkl get it crushed cause of vin numbers and such....but atm its not lookin good and the boss that is my boss's boss who im having my boss talk to about it on monday shoots EVERYTHING down so chances are if i get anything is cause my boss let me do it anyway....but monday will either be a good day or an awesome day

can't your yard or the junkyard get you a 907?

anyway, yes, the '89-'91('92) models are referred to as the Series 5 cars.

Use common sense when driving it until the engine reaches operating temperature. Meaning don't red line it. Keep it 5k or under.

Always keep an eye on the temperature gauge. Meaning never overheat a rotary engine. IF you overheat it and don't shut it down quickly more than likely you are going to be doing a rebuild. :-)

Also keep an eye on the oil pressure and warning light for low level oil If one of the oil hoses breaks you will lose oil quite rapidly and also are subject to engine failure.

Another small favor here- When forming sentences please make it so others can comprehend them. Keep them structured, don't let them run on and run where it looks like one giant sentence. :-)
