YGPM. If you're willing to help out, that would be wonderful. I don't have a rebuild kit yet, because I just found out it was dead yesterday, and have been trying to figure out what the best option is right now - replace, rebuild, etc.

That's cool man, ya got help...this forum's great, eh?...FYI- It only took 3 or 4 days for my overhaul kit to get to me from Rotary Aviation, even though they say at least 10 days...Give 'em a call, I bet they can hook ya up (if that's the kit ya want)...

No clue what kit I want. Suggestions? It's for a street driven car. While I'm working on things, I was planning to replace ground cables with insane-gauge stuff, replace the downpipe/midpipe with Racing Beat stuff (get the ancient catalytic converters out of there), and redo my brakes.

Make sure you clean up the existing grounds first, you'll fix any grounding problems better, IMO...I studied the different overhaul kits for months before settling with the RA kit, it was cheaper than most others, and had some parts others didn't (oil pump chain for one)...Their housing inner o-rings (combustion liners) are awfully stiff, and I had trouble with one popping out on me at a very bad time (right as the housings were going together). But, other than that, it was a very user-friendly kit, with good instructions...

Um... bump. Pip? Where'd you go? I'd like to get stuff started this weekend, if possible, or find a place to at least store my car.
