New to Rotary Power

Hi All,
I bought a '88 RX-7 'vert. Now what?
What have I got myself into??? I don't have a clue how this little engine makes it's power. I'm gonna buy a repair manual tonight. Is there one that is better than the others?
Thanks, Gary

When I first bought my rotary 4 years ago, I bought the Haynes manual. It's quite good for an everyday reference for the RX-7. You've come to the right place at this forum. Read everything you can, starting with the frequently asked questions thread. Don't be afraid to ask for help, but probably everything you ever want to know has already been discussed, so do aearch first. Congrats on your new (new to you, at least) Mazda.

I use both the Haynes manual and the on-line copy of the FSM (factory service manual)
The FSM link is in my sig below.
Download & print whatever you need.
