New rotary guy

So several months (year) ago I introduced myself and share the story and photos of our new project. Thought I share some new pics.
Still have a few bugs, tach reads little to none at idle, ground maybe, a little hard start cold, and speedo. Nothing to major.

Engine cleaned and detailed before paint

welcome to the board.

the car looks gorgeous. i think my biggest gripe with S4 cars are the black moldings, so for me, the body-color moldings and ducktail (i think it works with white, otherwise i like them black) are a really nice touch.

start here: Foxed.ca - you can get a copy of the FSM from there.

to me, it sounds a little odd that the speedo and tach are both not working. did you happen to have the instrument cluster out at some point?

if no, then start with the trailing coil pack for the tach. make sure it is securely bolted to the body. make sure the connections are secure and no wires are loose. if worse comes to worst, check the igniter.

for the speedo, pull the cable at the tranny and turn it with a drill. if that doesn't do anything, then you'll probably have to check the end at the cluster and/or replace the cable.

Yea I had the entire dash out to dye so the cable may not be fully inserted. I also printed the the ground point thread that Maaaaackle sent me.
Thanks for compliments, I really wasn't sure which way to go at first on the spoiler but glad I did...I'm a monochromatic kinda guy lol.
I really want to delete the door and inward body moldings but I am afraid it will have that uncompleted look. Seen it done and don't tho.

What did you use for that box/heat shield on your cold air intake? Previous owner of mine installed an intake but with no shielding
