I plan to run some 215s at least on some 17x7s. I have 225s on my stock rims and they fit pretty good. But thats just for the street anyways. 205s are meant for 7" rims though I think.

Yo,

I'll second Dre on that. 16's are great, 15's even better for track days! *grin*

Remember, it's not the size of the wheel, but how you spin it. *grin*

IMO, 16s and 17s look very good on the FC. I wanted to buy those same wheels but no one had them in stock. Every place I asked was backordered. Have you asked them if they have them in stock?

Heres a pic of both my fcs.

16 inch wheels on my old FC:

17 inch wheels on my new FC:

Thanks for the feedback. I plan on using 225 tires with those wheels, thats not pushing it, is it? I havent checked to see if they have them in stock yet but im gonna give that place a call tomorrow morning and see what they say. Theres also another place guranteeing them in stock so I'll give them a shot if they dont have it. I'll post on here and let you guys know how it goes.

Actually the wheel I've been looking into right now is the Rota Battle. A NEW Rota wheel. the slipstreams are pretty old, actually. I think I'm going to wait a while though.

The Rota Battle is an Advan AVS Model 5 knock off.
But what ARD T2 tells me is their offset (+45) isn't the best.

they come in 17 x7.5 (@16.5lbs) as well as 15 and 18

225's on a 40mm offset will PROBABLY rub. You may want to run a 5mm-10mm spacer. Use a "slim carcass" tire like a Yokohama AVS series. I run 225/60/15 AVS dB all the way around on my 'vert. I MIGHT have 1/8" clearance from the front spring perches on my stock rims. If I ran a wider "carcass" tire, they would rub.

Those rims will look good- white would look best, gold would be ok. Silver on a white car looks pretty blah.
