new relay in wiper switch did nothing?

OK, so yesterday I soldered in a new relay in my wiper switch, the main one. And still only low speed. What else is there to try? it's on a 1991 fc n/a. Thanks...later

The new relay only fixes the problem of no High/intermittent speed. Any other problem will be related to either solder joints or blown transistors.

Then there is also the problem of wiper motor internal switch contacts failing

what problems are you having

Only problem is that I only get the low speed, no High, or intermitant, or rear wiper.

I know the rear wiper is good, because I took it off and tested it, it works. I just can't get the switch to move it, and only get one low speed for the front wipers. I don't even really care for the rear wiper, I just want the front wipers working properly, thanks...later

Ddi you replace both the front and rear relays???

Maybe you damaged the board when you removed the old relay?
