ACT Flywheel & Counterweigt

Is there any specific way that the counterweight is supposed to go onto the flywheel.

I have no instructions!!!

Please Help!!!

what kind of bolts do I need to attach them together?

I am sorry about the lack of instructions. The counterweight goes on first as it would on an automatic, and the flywheel bolts right to it. Make sure you have the correct counterweight for your engine since there are a couple different ones for the turbo engines. We are now providing flywheel bolts to hold the two together, but the very first ones didn't ship out with them. We use 10.9 grade 20mm long bolts and I suggest a bolt torque of about 50lbs. If you still need them, we can ship them to you no charge. The clutch bolts are standard Mazda. We don't provide these. I hope that helps

I just put in an ACT Streetlite flywheel and a 6 Puck HD clutch kit. Two of the the stock pressure plate to the flywheel bolts are too long and partially not threaded as the stock flywheel has two holes that the threads are recessed. Maybe bolts should be included with the flywheels. Just a thought

I don't understand about the stock recessing. It was my understanding that was only done on the earlier stock non-turbo flywheels (the ones without dowels). Thanks for the suggestion. We are looking into providing ARP fasteners at least as an option.

You wouldn't happen to know where I could buy a set of the fasteners you are considering selling with the flywheels? Or at least the specs for the bolts? Thanks.

The flywheel to counterweight bolts are 10mm diameter X 1.25 pitch X 20mm long. I am not sure where you can get fasteners in your local area.
