Well after lots of thought i just went ahead and fixed my broken rear in my 86 base and replaced it with a 86 gxl out of an auto. The 3.90 gears were not my first choice but i don't have time right now to tear down both diff's. The good news it that it seems to pull just as harn and the posi is great with only 86k on it, now io also have the gxl brakes all around and it stops great. After porting the tb and doing the tb mod it'll go to the dyno to be tuned and hopefully pull a 14s run. I'll post pics of the ported TB in a little bit
