New Radiator and Thermostat, still running hot...

Ok, my Radiator blew last week and I replaced it- I got one from radiatorbarn.com, and it is all metal, has all the right connects, and seemed to cool fine at highway speeds. Then my thermostat stuck and my filler cap neck cracked, so after a lot of pain I replaced the filler neck with my old radiator's and replaced the thermo, but it seems to want to run hot, pegged right at the top line of the gauge at the H..
and when I pop the cap on my filler neck every 15 seconds or so bubbles pop up..also my engine seems to want to idle at a higher rpm, usually from 6-700, but now its 800-1k rpm..
What the hell is going on?
I am theorizing that my new radiator isn't efficient enough or that there is a problem with my motor making it run so hot- OR, my gauge could be screwing up- my fuel light is stuck on and my oil pressure gauge was reporting 0 psi this am until I let it idle and it jumped up to 45 like it was forgetting something..so any one else tackle this issue before?

Or you blew the motor when it over heated the second time.

Bubbles coming up means either you didn't bleed the system well or there is a blown coolant seal or housing.

Well, there seems to be no noticeable loss of power yet, and there doesn't seem to be steam coming from my tailpipe, of course that applies to piston-engines when a head is blown and I am not sure if that applies to rotaries, but there is a good possibility that the system wasn't bled well since when my radiator blew I had to swap it out on the side of the road..would any of this continue to make my car overheat? Even with a new radiator and thermostat? I know for a fact my thermostat was stuck closed because I boiled it and it didn't open..what other symptoms will a blown coolant seal manifest?
I hope that's not the problem dammit dammit dammit...

you will probably find coolant on the spark plugs if you have a blown coolant seal

Ok, well one thing I found was that my coolant level sensor stopped working- it was working when my Rad busted but stopped since then- and I was under the assumption that I still had coolant- that's why I was overheating, my heater-core piping sprung a leak and blew all my coolant out unknown to me..and therefore my engine would obviously run hot without coolant..
I will pull my spark plugs and check them out..
also, I was wondering since it is so hot in Ga now, 100+ most days, do you think it would run cooler with or without a thermostat?

Were in the same boat And both in GA too. If you're north, check out the OGTA meets.

Use a stock thermostat and have the coolant system pressure tested.
