How did I know that the majority of the replies to this thread would be about the Cosmo mag in the last pic? Oh yeah--its RX7Club.

I'm just glad to have so successfully derailed it. Now to get it back on topic: I'm glad you went with black irons instead of purple. :shudder:

Q: What benefits do you see from running an RX-8 e-shaft? Any modification required to run it?

the rx8 e shaft is a pound lighter causing it to rev a little higher and faster. and there is not modifications to run it. and for the cosmo thats my girls. that what she does so that "she can spend time with me"

+1 for another guy out there that is putting a standalone and bigger injectors on his na and using it as a daily driver. My car is being tuned right now.

It looks good, goodluck with the project.

R%@RFDFD#@#E I wish I knew that the rx8 shaft fit in because I would have done it lol

did you say how much the Renesis eccentric shaft cost? sounds like a nice little thing to do when rebuilding a motor.

That seems like a pretty good price. When do you expect to have this done and dynoed?

Talking

I am now rebuilding the motor in my 89 GTU, after it crapped out on me. I am leaving it NA because not a lot of people do for their daily drivers. Here is a list of things I want to do:

Street Port
Master rebuild kit
Microtech ecu
Rx8 Eccentric Shaft
Racing Beat Full Exhaust
Side draft setup ???
Turbo II Fuel System

This is as far as I have gotten, I will be updating as I get more done….
Sorry I had to get this translated into English so I could understand what I was reading...

Looks good man definatly keep us updated. Lots of pics

Fast cars and silence just aren't meant to go together. I'd want a powerful DD, too! And if you're already rebuilding the motor, why not this?
